As always Kip & Co have hit it out of the park with their latest collection, Sojourn, inspired by extended, idyllic getaways, full of adventure, charm and the unknown.
The collection embraces an elegant simplicity, layered with tones of peach nougat, lychee, iris, coconut husk and fresh bouquets. Also featuring heavily is this season’s must-have colour palette of soft and natural earthy tones, paired with florals and bold pattern.
The stunning campaign was shot at Heidi Middleton’s Palm Beach home, continue scrolling for the collection of stunning images or shop the full range here.
A sophisticated bedroom evokes a sense of elegance and luxury. The aesthetic is modern, the colour palette is refined and it’s a space that will stand the test of time and continue to evolve as your style does.
With the help of Manchester Collection we have compiled our top five tips to help you create the bedroom of your dreams… and rest assured, it doesn’t have to be a complicated or super expensive makeover, just a few tweaks and we will have you on your way!
1 - Colour Palette
The first step is to decide on your colour palette. The easiest way to do this is to pick out a piece art that you love, a quilt cover that you plan on using or an accent item such a bedhead or item of furniture. Now you have your main colour, so it’s time to work with it by adding in 2-3 complimentary colours in the form of accessories and linen.
2 - Texture
To create a space that has warmth, depth and a feeling of cosiness you need texture. Using bed linen that is the same tone (think grey, charcoal and white as a combo) and adding interest to the space by using different textures - imagine pure linen bed sheets and covers, quilted cushions and a knitted throw.
3 - Layering
Layering adds the luxe factor and creates a bed that you will want to run and jump in. Opt for high quality sheets and quilt covers, add a quilted bedspread to the bottom third of the bed and then layer that with a throw rug for a polished sophisticated feeling. When it’s time for your pillow placement it can be overwhelming, personally I like the euro pillowcases to match the quilt cover, the standard pillowcases to match the sheets and then add a couple of accent cushions to finish the look.
4 - Go big
When choosing a quilt and quilt cover it’s important to always go for a size larger than your bed. For example use a king quilt on a queen bed, a super king quilt on a king bed and so forth. It allows the bed linen to drape over the sides of the bed to creates that soft and lovely styled look you have swooned over on instagram!
5 - Accent items
Try using a certain material different ways in the space. For example, you could use brass pendant lights, a brass vase by the bedside and a touch of metallic in your artwork. Another option would be to use timber as the accent, timber frames around your artwork, a timber bench seat at the end of the bed and timber bedside tables. It naturally brings to whole look together and makes the room feel more cohesive and thoughtful.
6 -Add a touch of greenery
Adding greenery to your space will give it the finishing touch and will make it feel inviting and lived in. Flowers by the bed in a beautiful vase, a hanging planter with a cascading plant or a basket with a fiddle leaf in the corner are all great ways to utilise green in your room.
Spring has sprung and Summer is well and truly on it’s way, so what better time than now to give your bed and bedroom a little refresh for the warmer months! Ditch those heavy quilts and darker shades, instead opt for light and bright, whites and pastels.
Using pieces all from Just Bedding I made over my bedroom (above), I kept the bed linen soft neutrals with just a hint of charcoal and added some fun and warmth with artwork. For this look I used: Tyler Silver Quilt Cover, Chambray Granite European Pillowcase, Cornell White Square Cushion, and the Tyler Silver Decorator Cushion.
Just Bedding was founded in 2005 with the mission to provide the largest range of bedding found online and it quickly became one of Australia's favourite online bed linen stores.
Just Bedding’s aim is to provide the best experience for anyone wanting to buy bed linen online, due to their abundance of choice, brands, styles and fair prices.

With spring upon us, it’s the perfect time to revamp your bedroom and your bed. We spoke to Penney + Bennett director Sarah Carson about the best ways to breathe some spring into your life… and your bed!
For styling, I like to place euro cushions at the front of the bed. It makes the bed feel more luxe and creates a cosy spot for reading.
I like to use contrasting printed euros or pillowslips from the rest of the bedding, for me colour evokes emotions, and that unexpected pop of colour to keep things interesting.
I love to invest in fresh bedding for spring, we are about to release a range of crisp 100% cotton bedding in our cascades print, which is the perfect print for warmer weather.
New Zealand homewares lable Penney + Bennett are devoted to creating simplicity, materiality and questioning the conventional in contemporary textile living-ware. They have just released their latest collection and we love love love!

As a leader in the industry, it’s a question Julia fields on a daily basis, from budding stylists of all ages and from all backgrounds.
So, armed with a wealth of industry information and her own styling secrets, the founder of Greenhouse Interiors decided to share her knowledge with those looking to establish themselves in this highly-sought-after field.
She recently threw open the doors to her Barwon Heads home for a weekend-long workshop where six aspiring stylists, who were given the opportunity to learn what it takes to turn a passion for interior styling into a career.
The workshop covered all aspects of the industry, from understanding personal style to working with photographers and other suppliers, as well as how to win business in this highly-competitive field. Guest speaker Samantha Firestone also shared her knowledge of the importance of digital strategy, social media and marketing.
A morning yoga session and an evening glass or two of bubbles offered a perfect contrast to the otherwise fast-paced schedule.
The workshop culminated in a professional photo shoot where participants brought to life their interior concepts using a new range of artworks by Greenhouse Interiors artists Brent Rosenberg, Morgan Jamieson, Prudence Caroline and Kimmy Hogan.

‘This retreat was a money-can’t-buy experience and was one of the best weekends of my life! Although we were six complete strangers and have different end goals, we all seemed to be at the same stage. Waiting at the start line, a little unsure how to actually start or to reach the next stage. Julia’s energy and passion is contagious and she quickly got everyone to open up and really trust each other in an incredibly supportive environment. Although this weekend was about styling, it was just as much about backing yourself and just going for it. By the end of the weekend, we all left with our hearts and inspiration cups overflowing – not to mention some beautiful imagery to compliment our portfolio’s!’ said participant Alex.

We are crushing hard on the latest RJL x Adairs Winter 18 Collection – it is cosy, comfy and oh so classy!
Inspired by fashion and some of Bec’s very own iconic wardrobe moments, her latest Autumn Winter 2018 Collection for cult favourite Adairs features a stylish colour palette of blush, teal and grey hues.
The collection features a range of on-trend elements, think soft Ombre pink, grey Mongolian faux fur, contemporary geometric patterns, angular quilting, tassels, luxe velvet and modernised lace placement.
“Jardin is my velvet offering for this season, coming in a beautiful teal colour with a unique placement quilted design. Something very different which we haven’t done it before and its come up a treat.” – Bec Judd
“We’ve also designed a printed bedlinen cover called Fusion, which features a beautiful Ombre pink colour with a printed geometric design. The quilt cover is double sided, so it’s completely versatile, and then you’re free to mix and match by either styling it with the Mongolian Euros or the Cable Kitted Euro – it’s amazing!” – Bec Judd
"The Como design has been made from a beautiful Stonewashed Cotton, it’s so lush with layers fringing and strip lace. When I say lace, it’s not a flouncy - flowery lace, it’s a masculine - a little bit of a hard-edge lace, so it’s more contemporary. I cannot wait to get it on my bed!” – Bec Judd
In Bed have released a gorgeous range of 200TC Washed Cotton sets and singulars in the most dreamy and soft colour palette - floss, pale blue, sage and cloud. It's the perfect linen range for balmy summer nights... with a perfect lived in and relaxed look just like linen but with the crisp feel of cotton.
We chatted with the super talented and creative founder of In Bed Pip Vassett, about her top tips for summer bed styling!
"For summer I really love to style my bed in soft, pastel colours rather than any colours that are too dark or heavy. I guess to emulate that breezy summer vibe indoors!"
"I also really like to mix a few complimentary colours together as well rather than just having one block colour for the whole bed, it's a little more fun and I think summer is the time of year to be a little more playful. Our cotton range is great for this as all the pastels work beautifully together so it's really easy to mix and match."
"I'm not big on heavy layers for summer so I'll often just use an untucked flat sheet as a bed cover, ditching the duvet on those especially hot days."
The grandest of entrances leads you into a breathtakingly beautiful transformation of a Victorian Home, Elsternwick House is absolutely stunning.
"As the client was encouraging of our exploration of colour, we took an evolutionary approach from room to room. Soft, earthy clay in the lounge melds into rusty brown in the adjacent study; through to a dining room swathed in striking blue." says Fiona Lynch.

Siesta Home is a Melbourne-based boutique-bedding brand created by Australian Winter Olympian Johanna Lyle. The collection is bold, fun and full of life, an invitation to play.
Drawing on influences from her European travels and colourful memories, Siesta Home collections are a postcard from Joh's former life as a snowboarder.
"I remember being the most colourful snowboarder when I was in the 2006 & 2010 Winter Olympics."
Now a mother of 2, Joh pursued her passion for interior styling after retiring from her Olympic career. Her artful eye and her penchant for colour resulted in a 7 month long passion project renovating her Melbourne home. While renovating, Joh's natural gravitation towards colours, patterns and prints led her to start designing her own unique bedding collections, with a plan to inspire people to have fun and experiment with their bedding too.
Siesta Home’s latest collection entitled ‘NOMAD” is inspired by a feeling of wanderlust, being in nature, and starry nights. The natural beauty of all the colours and patterns in the countryside has played its part in the new collection; from the green grass, to the pink and lavender native flowers, grey rock formations, peachy soft sunsets and dusty brown soil that create patterns in the land.
“All these little elements worked together beautifully when designing Nomad, and I hope they spark a feeling of joy in nature and appreciation of its beautiful creations every time they are used.”
“I have always been drawn to colour and experimenting with mixing and matching different tones. Every design has been carefully chosen to complement each other - which is why some are reversible! The concoction of colour and play on patterns is something that gives Nomad its unique personality.” Says Joh.
The range has a super luxurious feel and will transform your bedrooms look and feel in an instant. We love Joh’s motto that “that the simple act of changing your sheets can bring about a positive and refreshing energy to your bedroom. And who doesn't love fresh sheets?!”
Everything in the collection is made from beautiful, high quality materials including cotton linen, cotton velvet and cotton percale to ensure the best nights sleep as well as longevity.
We love that every item in the range is designed to be mixed and matched - for all seasons and to suit your home's interiors. Siesta Home encourages people to match their moods with their bed sheets, a motto I’m definitely taking on board!
The collection includes reversible duvets, standard and euro pillowcases, plush cushions and throws and a beautiful sunset fitted sheet to compliment the unique colour palette.
Nomad is for anyone who dreams of wandering, and wonders to dream.
We have loved everything that Made By Morgen has done since we first set eyes on their incredible work a few years back, and now their latest collection has absolutely blown our minds!
With inspiration from mid-century Scandinavian design they work by hand to create refreshing, unique and individualised pieces for people, places and spaces.
If you know me well, you would know that personally I'm not the biggest fan of pattern in my own home, but the amazing work of Slowdown Studio has changed my mind and has made me really excited!
Slowdown Studio is the creative project of Australian-born, Los Angeles-based designer Marc Hendrick. With a love of playful prints and patterns, Marc selects his favourite illustrators and artists from around the world to collaborate on a series of woven blankets. With limited runs of each style, Slowdown Studio celebrates individuality and artistry, bringing these unique pieces into homes in the form of something as beautiful and versatile as a 100% cotton throw.
Slowdown Studio says "Whether laying around a grassy knoll, sunning on a beach or getting comfy on the couch, Slowdown Studio blankets are the perfect item to help you find a welcome change of pace and comfort. So grab a coffee, a book and a blanket, and slow it down."

The cotton sheets are closely woven to be smooth, light and breathable, making them ideal for warmer seasons and balmy climates.
For the launch of the cotton range, IN BED partnered with Portuguese accommodation project Santa Clara 1728, located within a starkly beautiful 18th century façade in the heart of Lisbon’s old cultural quarter.
