Australian fashion label Zimmermann has continued it’s world domination by launching it’s latest US boutique in San Francisco. And as much as we absolutely adore their fashions, we are crushing even harder on the interiors of this beautiful new retail space.

In keeping with the brand’s Australian roots, the new boutique is designed by Australian architect Don McQualter of Studio McQualter and is a physical embodiment of the ZIimmermann brand – relaxed femininity, an air of freshness and light, and unyielding optimism.

Zimmermann San Francisco was previously occupied by an art gallery giving the store ample square footage and grand high ceilings. In addition, Studio McQualter designed all custom metalwork, light fixtures, display tables, millwork and visual merchandising fixtures for both stores.

They mixed these designs with a selection of classic furniture, such as 1930’s Art Deco armchairs and Charles Dudouyt dining tables made of solid oak. Rare and expressive lighting elements such as 1976 vintage table lamps by Elio Martinelli for Matinelli Luce and a beautiful sculptured torch cut steel wall lamp with Murano glass designed by Marcello Fantoni are included to complete the overall store designs.
