Sandstorm Collection - Inspired by the dunes of the vast Saharan desert, our Sandstorm collection combines a tonal feast of soft, floaty layers of ivory, camel, sand and oatmeal for a calming, serene effect. Like a Bedouin of the desert stumbling upon an oasis, pops of indigo blue, blackened kohl and rust punctuate this sandy backdrop, while glints of brass play like a mirage on the horizon.

Warm and earthy bedding love... new by IN BED x We Are Triibe

Photographer: Terence Chin Styling & Creative direction: We Are Triibe

Photographer: Terence Chin
Styling & Creative direction: We Are Triibe

IN BED x Triibe have launched their latest collaboration, an exclusive linen range in the beautiful earthy colourway Tobacco, and it is nothing short of dreamy... and can we please talk about the breathtakingly beautiful back drop?!

The range embodies Triibe’s and IN BED’s similar aesthetic, resulting in the wonderful warm, rich and earthy tone of tobacco. It is classic yet bold at the same time and can completely transform a bedroom space, which follows Triibe’s ambition to reinvent people’s spaces through design, interiors and styling.

This stunning campaign was shot by photographer Terence Chin at an intimate private residence on the Central Coast NSW, about 1.5 hours out of Sydney. The space is a separate guest house from the main residence and has a rustic European feel to it, almost transporting the guests to the French countryside when entering the building.

The Tobacco colour comes in sets and separates - SHOP at We Are Triibe here or IN BED here.

Interior Trend Predictions for 2018... by Lucy Given from LUC. Design Store

Lucy Given is one busy lady. Not only is she paving the way for homeware interiors at her amazing LUC. design store in Hobart, she was also recently named the first ever ‘Retailer of the Year’ at the 2017 Gift and Life Instyle Awards.

Having over 25 years experience in both commercial and residential interior design and retail - Lucy knows a thing or two about what’s happening in the industry, on a national and international scale. This makes Lucy the perfect person to lead several education sessions at Reed Gift Fairs in Melbourne this August. Each session is tailored specifically to those within this ever-growing industry.

In preparation for the Reed Gift Fairs Melbourne event, Lucy has shared some of her professional interior trend predictions for spring/summer 18 with us... scroll down!

Scandinavian influences – this is an interior trend that has continued to flourish and evolve over the years. Interior trends for 2018 will combine Scandinavian designs with a much more paired back sensibility. This will include the use of vintage/timeless elements (think classic furniture and lighting from the 60’s and 70’s) teamed with a touch of glamour in metal, leather or glass  – creating a sense of comfort and luxury in the home. There will be less of the pale timbers and soft greys this season, and more walnut, natural leather and textural hides.

The return of colour – trending across the industry is the return of bold colour choices and the resurgence of layers and textures. There is a shift in the shades of colours we are used to seeing and a move toward earthy tones, metallics and shiny surfaces that reflect a sense of luxury and wealth. You can also expect to see lots of pink trending this season and more specifically millennial pink. Green will continue to remain a strong trend, however it will take on softer shades of sage, soft pastel celery and avocado. Dark interiors dominate with moody greys and intense blues - which makes me very happy.

The mix of colours with textures – this season we will continue to see the pairing of colours and textures, which includes velvet and natural textiles that will be emulated throughout linens and wools. Along with this, there will be an inclusion of leather, metal accents, concrete and glass mixed with other natural elements such as plants, timbers, stone and textural fabrics.

Marble and natural stone – Expect to see the pairing of marble and natural stone this season, with black being the new white when it comes to marbling. Keep an eye out for stone finishes and tones of grey and black, along with thin profiles in bench and table tops. Black kitchens will also become huge.

All of these trends and more will be showcased at Reed Gift Fairs Melbourne in August 2017. http://www.reedgiftfairs.com.au

Winter - Country Road Home...

Country Road July Bathroom.jpg

What's not to love at Country Road Home!

Their Winter 17 collection is full of pieces to layer, tactile woollen yarns, fresh winter hues with touches of pattern and texture. Ummm I'll take one of everything please!

Lo & Co. Interiors...

Lo & Co. Interiors brilliantly blurs the boundaries between art and design. Heralded as Australia’s destination for exotic homewares and tableware; the collection includes vases, planters, marble tables, trays, occasional furniture, glass wear, cushions, throws, candles and candle holders which are sourced from both around the globe and designed in-house. The collection is a beautiful balance between high-shine, brass, feathers, leathers and marble that helps translate classic indulgence into a sleek modern setting. This season their range is a little moodier and features seasonal products and one-off limited treasures.

Discover a treasure-trove of homewares on their online store and add individuality to your décor with finely-crafted pieces that deliver effortless but well considered style.

Grand Designs Home Collection...

Grand Designs Australia have releases a gorgeous new Home Collection. The collection is inspired by the Grand Designs Australia TV series that airs on Foxtel’s Lifestyle channel and hosted by architect Peter Maddison.

Across the range, natural materials take centre stage which is right up my alley. The colours, textures and materials of elm, oak, linen, wool, art glass, ceramics and hide are just divine. The collection is "designed to bring something new and unique to home living. Many items deliver impact through scale, and all tie in with each other for a coordinated look."

Each piece has been developed by experts and the collection encompasses furniture, lighting, plants, textiles and decor. They have drawn on years of experience and passion to bring you pieces with character and distinction.

Ninnho Forever Collection...

Styling: Bek Sheppard - Photography: Reuben Gates

I'm calling it - this is Ninnho's best collection yet! 'Forever Ninnho' encapsulates two collections, 'Diamonds' and 'Skulls' which both draw upon gorgeous rosy tones, precious jewels and luxury. The collection was inspired by Antoinette Ferwerda’s original painting titled ‘King’s Jester’, painted and exhibited in 2014 during her solo exhibition in Melbourne.

'Diamonds' was inspired by Antionette's interest in precious stone formations and it's linear pattern reflects light with it’s rosey gold sheen. A timeless colour palette in warm gold and soft grey.

Skull design took months to perfect and the textural detail from my mixed media painting is expressed beautifully in this woven design.  Subtle and enigmatic, it’s my sentimental, favourite artwork to share with you.” says Antoinette.

Available now.. so go grab yourself some of these beautiful soft and gorgeously designed beauties!

If you’re anything like me you absolutely love and may be a tiny bit obsessed with having your kitchen, bathroom and laundry looking perfectly styled at all times… well let’s be honest, as often as humanly possible with life getting in the way! So please let me introduce to you Organic Choice – environmentally friendly, sustainable premium household products that not only offer a healthy alternative to other home cleaning products – but their packaging is super modern, sophisticated and minimalist and looks so fab when displayed in your home!

This beautiful range of products are developed right here in Australia, from the belief that products can be both effective, and sourced from sustainable and natural ingredients. What’s even better is that they are so affordably priced, Australian made, and conveniently available at your nearest Coles nationally. Oh and did I mention that they are not tested on animals and are palm oil free… YAY!

After giving these babies a vigorous going over in my own home I just love the fresh fragrance of the products, which is created by the addition of natural essential oils; but my ultimate fragrance is the Multi-Purpose Cleaner – Lemongrass & Australian Myrtle. It’s natural, fresh and so distinctively Australian and trust me it makes cleaning the house just that much better when you’re surrounded by lovely smells and when you know that these products have been created with no harsh chemicals in the formulation, safe for you and your family.

Product wise I am obsessed with the Air Fresheners – they smell divine and not only do they fragrance the air, they can be used to freshen up your sheets and bed linen too… so add a little guilt free luxury into your everyday life by spritzing your linen and jumping into fresh sheets, is that not the best feeling in the world?! And let’s not forget how lovely it feels when you get home after a long day, put your feet up and light a candle, the aroma wafting around and helping you wind down… try the West Indian Lime and Coconut, so delicious you want to eat it!

Hunting for George ‘Clifton’ Summer Homeware Collection...

The latest homewares collection from Hunting for George encapsulates all that we love about Summer. It’s relaxed, nostalgic and has a comforting simplicity. The collection titled Clifton is named after a sleepy coastal town in Tasmania where Hunting for George co-founders and sisters spent their childhood summers. And growing up in Tasmania myself I have an extra soft spot for this collection.

The collection includes new bedlinen, quilt sets, sheet sets, euro pillowslips, cushions, floor cushions, tea towels and prints. Summer means entertaining and entertaining means getting stuck with drying duty when you’d rather be falling into a post-feast slumber. You’ll be looking fine whilst doing the time with the double trouble Tea Towel combo: Cove and Village tea towel sets are 100% cotton, machine washable and super convenient for flicking unsuspecting passers-by.

They have also welcomed the Lounger Floor Cushion, made from indoor/outdoor friendly canvas, it is the perfect addition this summer. The Clifton Quilt Set is the everyday cool customer with an enigmatic smile, understated, super chill and always there when you need him. The Bobby Quilt Set is the extrovert of the bunch, offbeat and whimsical - moving sideways, never straight because no one likes to be predictable.  The Miami Quilt Set is the optimistic cheerleader, always upbeat and with its volume turned up.

“I wanted this collection to represent everything we love about Summer holidays. Our fondest memories are from our holiday’s spent at Clifton Beach. Extremely understated and surrounded by nature. I wanted our designs to reflect the simplicity and calm energy of that time.” Lucy Glade-Wright, co-founder.

“My favourite design is the hero of the collection, the Clifton Quilt Set. It has a quiet energy and a casual nature which is everything that a summer holiday should be.”

Bee Line Design - Cuba Collection

Styling accessories available from Click On Furniture

Beeline Design has unveiled its latest furniture range, The Cuba Collection and we are in love with the timber and leather combinations. It marries mid-century styling with a modern edge; designed around the concept of straight lines with soft edges.

Cuba is the 2nd range for Furniture maker Adam Brislin and his partner Lucy and it signals a move into an exciting new direction for the pair. Like their previous collection each piece is lovingly hand-crafted from sustainably sourced Tasmanian Oak, this time with the inclusion of natural leather. "We wanted to design a range of simple understated shapes that each featured a unique aspect that was a little unexpected" says Lucy. "Be it the magazine holder in the coffee table or the leather strapping that acts as a hinge on the ladder rack we wanted to challenge ourselves in how creatively we could use the 2 materials."

The Cuba Collection once again showcases Adam's quality craftsmanship and high level of detailing. Made in their Preston, Melbourne workshop they have followed their formula of reinterpreting trends and the resulting collection presents a fresh approach to incorporating leather which is designed to stand the test of time.

Beeline have offered Dot + Pop readers 15% OFF their collection - YAY!

Rocking chair ($49), wooden hexagonal mirror ($15)

Kmart have been absolutely killing it with their homewares collections for a while now and their Winter Collection is just as 'on trend'!

A carefully curated, locally designed collection of warm and textured winter living pieces are in store now. Form and function share centre stage in Kmart’s May Living collection – sleek Scandinavian styling, on-trend minimalistic materials and moody colour palettes meet cosy, tactile textures for added warmth in Winter.

All items are also extremely affordable with Kmart continuing to cement its reputation as the destination for designer inspired living at irresistible prices. Kmart Australia’s Head of Home, Julie Miller-Sensini, said, “Our May Living arrivals will continue to surprise and delight our customers. The stylish range of winter essentials showcases a natural look with simple clean lines – with a few hints of monochrome, providing a nod to the current interiors trend”.

Cosy, stylish pieces that I expect to be super popular include the grey and white ombre faux fur cushion ($12) and throw ($25, also available in a charcoal checkerboard pattern), the Wellington faux sheepskin (in white, pink or grey for $19) and the faux cow hide (only $49). Country Road Autumn 2016...

I just can't get enough of Country Roads Home's collections of late, they are just to die for... They are seriously just getting better and better and better!

This Autumn Winter 2016 sees Country Road Home celebrate the beauty and simplicity of industrial, functional pieces, which are softened through an autumnal colour palette of washed reds and rich browns with metallic highlights of gold and copper, enough said, Gold and Copper, my favourites! There’s a focus on raw materials such as concrete, marble and oak being interpreted in modern ways; a clock created in speckled grey concrete and delicate glass vessels with marble stoppers... YAY!

Black and snow marble lights are a strong design addition to the range along with oak tables finished with marble tops. Knits reveal their intricate construction through fluffed textures - designed to be mixed together for luxurious layering in the home.

If you are in the mood to update you kitchen then listen out... striking enamel cookware in a chalky pale grey and the introduction of fresh sage green into their Tapas dining range is a sophisticated new season change. Felt place-mats and napkins in linen and cotton add depth to your table settings, with a cleansing palette of neutral charcoals, pale grey and marshmallow will ensure an understated style.

And my finally my favourite... Bed linen sees the introduction of cloud-like textiles, cleverly created through subtle embroidery and quilting in calming, restful shades including chalk blue and nude pink... dreamy!

Scroll down if you dare... you will want it all, I promise you!
